Leadership role

I've held a leadership role for the past 5 months, offering direct support to chapter managers in people management and strategic client decisions.
I also had the privilege of mentoring a designer's career where I conducted one-on-one meetings, analyzed both their hard and soft skills, and created a six-month plan with specific goals that aligned with the designer's skillset, career aspirations, and developmental needs.


Itaú Unibanco - Design System & Ops

Upon my arrival at the design system and ops team, I was responsible for the design tool migration process impacting the way more than 100 designers currently work at Itaú bank.

Main responsibilities:
- maintain and develop design libraries in collaboration with the engineers. - act as the focal point for component use and interface guidelines
- build components and its good practices documentation
- measure the use of components
- study and define design tokens
- train team members to use and apply DS (onboarding)
- define the process of design system contribution#

Itaú Unibanco - Loyalty
Redesign the homepage for one of the biggest financial businesses in South America Loyalty program besides crafting a variety of end-to-end journeys for the core bank app.
Throughout the project's lifecycle, I actively participated in the discovery process and the delivery phase, utilizing research and group dynamics to create and validate layout and flow ideas. Additionally, I established early connections with key stakeholders and fellow designers, contributing significantly to the business discussions within the loyalty area.

Facily is startup in vertiginous growth (the first social e-commerce in Latin America) where I worked in a 4-month period, where a blitz scaling model demanded agility in creating flows, testing scenarios, validating hypotheses with users and implementation with the development and product teams. I helped to establish product design practices and I found space to take the first steps towards a Design System and Ops culture in the company.
