IDL - Itaú Design System

Description

The Itaú Design System is a multi-brand initiative created by Itaú to scale and organize the visual standards of our User Interface in the bank's digital channels. Through an ecosystem of libraries that covers everything from design to front-end code, which can be reused and adapted for any channel or segment of the bank, we have created a repository of essential and standardized graphic elements for use in our various digital channels. This includes tokens, components, compositions, agnostic and adaptable templates, typography, illustrations, icons, motion graphics, content guidelines, and accessibility (a11y) guidelines.

Main responsibilities

Upon my arrival at the design system e ops team, I was responsible for the design tool migration process impacting the way more than 100 designers currently work at Itaú bank. - maintain and develop design libraries in collaboration with the engineers. - act as the focal point for component use and interface guidelines - build components and their good practices documentation - measure the use of components - study and define design tokens - train team members to use and apply DS (onboarding) - define the process of design system contribution
